Spring Break Camp 2016
Join us this spring break for some fun musical theater adventure!
The four-day spring break musical theater camp will include structured lessons in acting, singing, and dancing from a trained professional performers and educators. Campers will also participate in engaging drama games, group building exercises and theater craft projects, while working on an original script with contemporary musical adaptations! All friends, and family will be invited to attend the performance complete with costumes, and live music at 12:00pm on Thursday, April 7th.
SUPER HEROES – The magical, musical adventure!
SUPER HEROES, the magical musical adventure is an all original musical chronicling the lives of the all-singing, all-dancing Superhero Gang of Pleasanton! Follow siblings Jojo and Penny as they are initiated into a super secret force of young crusaders, and with some help learn what it takes to save the city from the evilest of villains!
Enrollment open to Grades 1-5

Brittany has been a professional actress, and arts educator for the past decade. Currently the Conservatory Program Director for Berkeley Playhouse, Brittany just prior served as the Casting & Education Director at Diablo Theatre Company in the East Bay, where she successfully constructed a brand new professional youth performance company – Diablo Youth Theatre. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Brittany has performed across the country with regional credits that include; the world premiere of Monstress at American Conservatory Theater, Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes, Logainne in Spelling Bee, Ilona in She Loves Me (BATCC Award), Brooke in Noises Off, Suzanne in Don’t Dress for Dinner, Kira in Xanadu (Shellie Award) all with Center REP, Amber Von Tussle in Contra Costa Musical Theatre’s Hairspray (Shellie Award), Nora in Nick and Nora as well as Dorrie Barbour in 42nd Street Moon’s Three Sisters, and Princess Fiona in Diablo Theatre Company’s East Bay Premiere of Shrek, The Musical, to name just a few. Brittany also had the honor of working with American Musical Theatre of San Jose appearing in West Side Story (Velma) with American Idol’s Diana DeGarmo, and A Chorus Line (Bebe) directed by original Broadway cast member Kay Cole. Brittany has directed, choreographed, and served as a guest artist for The Children’s Musical Theater of San Jose, Marquee Productions, Hope Musical Theater, Diablo Theatre Company, Diablo Youth Theatre, 42nd Street Moon, Miramonte High School, Castro Valley High School, and Pacific Coast Repertory Theater for which she is slated to choreograph the professional West Coast premiere of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. A Theatre Artists Institute graduate, San Jose State University Alum, and recipient of the Mim Babin Scholarship, Brittany is a proud member of the Actor’s Equity Association.

Allison F. Rich
Allison is thrilled to join Creative Habit Academy crew! Relatively new to the bay area, she is originally from Chico, CA where she earned her B.A. in both music and musical theatre at CSU, Chico. After graduating from the program, she was hired as the theatre department accompanist and musical director at CSU, Chico. Allison has taught private piano and voice lessons for 16 years and has worked as a musical director and accompanist for nearly 14 years. She has been a musical director for everything ranging from children’s theatre to adult professional regional theatre for companies in the bay area including San Jose Stage Company, San Ramon Community Theatre, Lamorinda Theatre Academy, and Palo Alto Children’s Theatre. For the last 8 years, Allison has primarily worked as a professional stage actress and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. She is an associate artist for San Jose Stage Company where she also serves as casting director. Some of her regional theatre acting credits include The Addams Family (Morticia), Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie), Venus in Fur (Vanda), The Rainmaker (Lizzie), Reefer Madness (Mae), Persuasion (Elizabeth), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson (Female Soloist), Reasons to be Pretty (Carly), The Great American Trailer Park Musical (Pippi) at San Jose Stage Company; Sail Away (Mimi Paragon), Nick And Nora (Tracy Gardner), I Married an Angel (Peggy Palaffi), and Painting the Clouds with Sunshine (Iris), Call Me Madam (Alice) at 42nd Street Moon; I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change (Woman 1) at Oregon Cabaret Theatre; The Producers (Ulla), Kiss Me, Kate (Kate/Lilli Vanessi) at Summer Repertory Theatre in Santa Rosa, CA; Reasons to be Pretty (Carly) at Capital Stage Company; and Hairspray (Velma von Tussle) at PCPA Theatrefest.
